RC cars are always among the hottest toys in any given year because of kids\' fascination with controlling cars of their own, plus the fact that there are countless adult RC car enthusiasts throughout the world. RC cars run on electricity, gas or nitro-fuel. While there are many different kinds of RC vehicles, electric RC cars are becoming more and more popular with good reason. While there are nitro and gas powered RC vehicles, there are some drawbacks to these that you don\'t find in electric RC cars. One of them of course is the fact the fuel engine RC\'s use petroleum products, which pollute the environment, no matter how small their emissions might be. Anyone who is environmentally conscious will like the fact that electric models don\'t pollute the air.

Electric RC cars have battery packs instead of fuel tanks, and electric motors instead of gas. RC vehicles don\'t require as much maintenance, the 9.6 volt battery packs plug right in, and can be charged up with an adapter and a wall plug. For serious out door enthusiasts, a solar panel or other alternative energy power source can be used when out camping. You can even buy more than one pack, so you can keep on charged at all times, while the other one is in the vehicle.
Electric RC Cars are also not as complicated to run as a gas powered RC car. Usually, RC car toys and vehicles can be ready to go right out of the box, instead of having to be assembled, like many gas models. They are less expensive, and easier to find at local mass marketers, or hobby shops. Because they are slower, they can be much easier for the new person to operate, so you are able to spend some time getting used to the controls, how RC car respond and handle, and if you wreck it, they are easier to replace that a gas powered model.
Depending on the size and model of electric RC cars, they will run far longer than the gas tanks will. While gas powered cars only last around five minutes, electric RC\'s can last twenty minutes or longer on a single charge. Having another battery pack charged and ready to go means even more run time.
For families, and those that are new electric RC cars are a great investment. They allow families to spend quality time together, and are age appropriate, are not messy to deal with, and provide more run time. Electric RC\'s come in a variety of different styles, from tanks, to water and air craft, and of course cars and trucks. There are even submarines, and a new product called to RC Water Cannon. This is a cool little RC product. It floats on the surface of a pool, or other flat body of water. When you want to shoot an intended victim, a jet of water can shoot about thirty feet.
When you buy electric RC cars it is important there are two kinds of electric RC motors. The ones that are ready out of the box don\'t need much extra care, but those you put together as a kit, you need to make sure that the battery is fully charged, and you need to break in the motor. This means driving around slowly at first, at least two times, then gradually build up to full speed. Using it too fast too soon can hurt the vehicles, as well as you.

  1. Yes you are right and a very infromative post but few more things need to about electric rc cars specially beginners. The electric edition of RC cars is easy to operate and can be used practically anywhere. This is a must-have for people who are trying RC cars for the first time. Unlike nitro cars that create so much noise, electric RC cars are quiet and very affordable. You only need to have a battery pack and you’re off.More info
